What ControlKids.com does not do

ControlKids uses no advertising cookies, no profiling trackers and no audience-analytics tool (such as Google Analytics) that would set cookies without your knowledge. No consent banner is therefore needed for normal browsing of the site: reading our guides and articles sets no non-essential cookie.

Possible technical cookies

Some pages may use technical mechanisms strictly necessary for the site to function (for example, temporarily remembering a form after a submission error). These technical elements do not require consent under applicable regulations, as they are essential to providing the requested service.

YouTube video: loaded only on click

Our homepage features an introduction video hosted on YouTube. To avoid setting any cookie when the page loads, the video is not embedded automatically: only a preview image is shown. Only when you deliberately click the play button does the YouTube player (in youtube-nocookie.com mode, which limits cookie use) load on the page.

From that click onward, YouTube (Google LLC) may set its own cookies and process data according to its own privacy policy, over which ControlKids has no control. If you'd rather avoid this, you can watch the video directly on YouTube instead of through our site.

Contact form: Cloudflare Turnstile anti-spam protection

Our contact page uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a tool that verifies the form is being filled in by a human rather than a bot, without the usual visual puzzles. This sets a technical cookie strictly necessary to prevent spam and fraud on this form — it is not used for advertising tracking or profiling, and is only active on the contact page.

Links to third-party sites

The site links to partner or institutional sites, notably https://devoirsdabord.fr/. Once on those sites, their own cookie policy applies — ControlKids invites you to review it.
